As Chief Marketing and Enrollment Operations Officer for Medforth Global Healthcare Education, Barry Leffler oversees enterprise-wide marketing, communications, recruitment, and enrollment operations. Barry is a strong operational leader, strategic marketing executive, and brand builder, having transformed health care, media, and marketing organizations in local, national, and international markets throughout his career.

From 2014 to 2018, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Tenet Healthcare, a Fortune 150 healthcare services company operating hundreds of hospitals, outpatient centers, and physician practices nationwide. At Tenet, he established, led, and built a consumer engagement marketing organization, implementing an evidence-based approach with a focus on creating value for patients and providers and fostering growth. He is recognized as an industry-leading architect of strategy for the development, design, and use of contemporary marketing tools powered by strong CRM technologies, and a digital orientation.

Prior to joining Tenet, Barry had extensive communications experience in the media. He was the owner and leader of WCHL, a radio station in Chapel Hill, NC, which became nationally known for its innovative approach to hyper-local digital media. Previously, Barry was with NBC as President and General Manager of NBC 17 (WNCN) leading the largest expansion of a local television station in the country. He also worked for 14 years at NBC, including international experience at NBC Europe in London where he oversaw marketing, communications, and creative services for two pan-European cable satellite channels.
